Our location is over half a mile up, off the main highway, and out a country gravel road that runs along a border of the national park. There are only a few other properties near by, so the quiet is remarkable, with no traffic or noises of civilization...
We don’t give directions unless a booking is made so that the quiet may be maintained, away from people that are casually looking for lodging or just sightseeing. This protects our guests’ privacy, as well as being for the consideration of our neighbors as the road is privately owned and maintained.
We accept checks for deposits by mail, and upon check in you are free to pay with check or cash.

Cancellation Policy: We ask for at least 2 weeks notice for cancellations, at which time we will refund your payment, less a $20 charge to help us cover the loss of time. We are a small establishment and it is not always possible to cover the rooms in so short a time, which can make a sad difference to our delicate balancing act. Thank you for your understanding. For this reason, after 2 weeks we will credit you with an equally valuable stay at another time (ask for guidelines on availability) or credit you with a gift certificate for someone else with which you’d like to share this special place.
