Gertrude’s Ateliér is our tribute to Gertrude Stein, combining French and country style with sophisticated details – of course with a wall of books, treasures from Europe, and breakfast accoutrements and surprises – all in one lovely studio down a garden path with your own private deck and entrance.

The room consists of a built-in king bed nook [with curtains for sleeping in late], a charming love seat for snuggling or reading [that folds out into a comfy extra sleeping place for one], all looking out onto a bright, sunny deck [surrounded by a well established garden, century old bishop pines, and views of the Point Reyes rolling hills]. Also included in the bathroom is a shower with French lavender soap, nice fluffy towels, and white terry cloth robes to make your stay comfortable. While it is sunny and warm outside in summer, it stays cool and relaxing inside. In winter it is bright, cozy and warm.
